 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1647

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1647 as follows:
 3    on page 54, immediately  below  line  32,  by  inserting  the
 4    following:

 5                            "ARTICLE 20.

 6        Section  20-5.  Conveyance  of real property to Maryville
 7    Academy.
 8        (a)  Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to  the  State  of
 9    Illinois,  the  Director  of  Central  Management Services is
10    authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title,  and
11    interest  of  the  State  of Illinois in and to the following
12    described real property  in  Cook  County,  Illinois  to  the
13    Maryville Academy of Chicago, Illinois:
14        Buildings  A  and  B  of  the  former Henry Horner School
15        property on Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
16        (b)  The conveyance described in subsection (a)  of  this
17    Section  shall  be  on  the  condition  that if the Maryville
18    Academy ceases to use the conveyed property,  title  to  that
19    property shall revert to the State of Illinois.

20        Section 20-10. Conveyance of real property to New Horizon
21    Center.

 1        (a)  Upon  the  payment  of the sum of $1 to the State of
 2    Illinois, the Director  of  Central  Management  Services  is
 3    authorized  to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and
 4    interest of the State of Illinois in  and  to  the  following
 5    described  real  property in Cook County, Illinois to the New
 6    Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled:
 7        Up to 5 acres of the former Henry Horner School  property
 8        on  Oak  Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, to be mutually
 9        agreed  upon  between  New   Horizon   Center   for   the
10        Developmentally Disabled and the State of Illinois.
11        (b)  The  conveyance  described in subsection (a) of this
12    Section shall be on the condition that  if  the  New  Horizon
13    Center  for  the  Developmentally  Disabled ceases to use the
14    conveyed property, title to that property shall revert to the
15    State of Illinois.

16        Section  20-15.  Recording.  The  Director   of   Central
17    Management  Services  shall  obtain  a  certified copy of the
18    portions of this  Act  containing  the  title,  the  enacting
19    clause,   the   effective   date,  the  appropriate  Sections
20    containing  the  land  descriptions   of   property   to   be
21    transferred,  and  this  Section  within  60  days  after the
22    effective date of this  Act  and,  upon  receipt  of  payment
23    required  by  the  appropriate  Sections  of  this Act, shall
24    record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the
25    county in which the land is located.".
