 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 452

 2        AMENDMENT NO. ___.  Amend House Bill 452, AS AMENDED,  as
 3    follows:
 4    by deleting all of Section 7-5; and

 5    in   Section  7-10,  in  the  first  sentence,  by  replacing
 6    "Director of Central Management Services" with "Secretary  of
 7    Human Services"; and

 8    after  the  last  line  of  Section  7-10,  by  inserting the
 9    following:
10        "The conveyance  of  real  property  authorized  by  this
11    Section  shall  be made subject to the express condition that
12    if that real property ceases to be used for public  purposes,
13    it  shall  revert  to  the  State of Illinois without further
14    action on the part of the State."; and

15    in  Section  7-15,  in  the  first  sentence,  by   replacing
16    "Director  of Central Management Services" with "Secretary of
17    Human Services"; and

18    after the  last  line  of  Section  7-15,  by  inserting  the
19    following:

20                             "Article 8.

 1        Section  8-5.  Upon the approval of the Livingston County
 2    Board and the payment of the  sum  of  $1  to  the  State  of
 3    Illinois,  the  Director  of  State  Police  is authorized to
 4    convey by quitclaim deed to  the  County  of  Livingston  all
 5    right,  title,  and  interest  in  and to a parcel of up to 4
 6    acres of the approximately 11 acres on which  the  Department
 7    of State Police District 6 communications facility is located
 8    in  Pontiac,  Livingston County, Illinois.  The approximately
 9    11 acres, from which the 4-acre parcel shall be conveyed,  is
10    described as follows:
11        A  part  of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township
12        28 North, Range 5 East of the Third  Principal  Meridian,
13        Livingston   County,   Illinois,  described  as  follows:
14        Commencing at the Northwest corner of  said  Section  27,
15        Thence Due South along the west line of said Section 27 a
16        distance  of  1012.38  feet to a point; Thence Due East a
17        distance of 214.1 feet to the POINT  OF  BEGINNING,  said
18        point  being a concrete post on the easterly right of way
19        line of County Highway 11; from said POINT OF  BEGINNING,
20        Thence  North 25 degrees 41 minutes 50 seconds East along
21        said easterly right of way line a distance of 306.10 feet
22        to a concrete corner post; Thence  North  55  degrees  50
23        minutes  45 seconds East along said easterly right of way
24        line a distance of 91.00 feet to a concrete corner  post;
25        Thence  North 89 degrees 39 minutes 16 seconds East along
26        the South line of Lincoln Street  a  distance  of  618.65
27        feet  to  a concrete corner post; Thence South 00 degrees
28        15 minutes 12 seconds East a distance of 584.39  feet  to
29        an  iron  pin;  Thence  South  54  degrees  50 minutes 35
30        seconds West a distance of 238.00 feet to  an  iron  pin;
31        Thence  North  75  degrees  51  minutes 07 seconds West a
32        distance of 576.23 feet to an iron pin; Thence  North  16
33        degrees  53  minutes 47 seconds West a distance of 261.14
34        feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing  11.38  acres,

 1        more or less.

 2        Section 8-10. The conveyance authorized under Section 8-5
 3    is  subject  to  the  condition that if the property conveyed
 4    under that  Section  is  ever  not  used  by  the  County  of
 5    Livingston  for  public  purposes, then title to the property
 6    shall revert to the State of Illinois without further  action
 7    on the part of the State.

 8        Section  8-15.  The Director of State Police shall obtain
 9    a certified copy of the portions of this Act  containing  the
10    title,   the   enacting   clause,  the  effective  date,  the
11    appropriate Sections  containing  the  land  descriptions  of
12    property  to  be transferred, and this Section within 60 days
13    after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of  payment
14    required  by  the  appropriate  Sections,  shall  record  the
15    certified  document in the Recorder's office in the county in
16    which the land is located.".
