 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 452

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 452 as follows:
 3    by replacing lines 5 through 31 on page 1 and lines 1 through
 4    30 on page 2 with the following:

 5        "Section 5-5. Upon payment of the sum of $1, the Director
 6    of Natural Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois,  is
 7    authorized  to  convey  by  quitclaim  deed to the Village of
 8    Bartlett all  right,  title,  and  interest  in  and  to  the
 9    following described real property:
10        That  part  of  the  Southeast  Quarter  of  Section  36,
11    Township  41  North,  Range  8  East  of  the Third Principal
12    Meridian, described as follows: commencing at  the  Southeast
13    corner  of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 28
14    minutes  15  seconds  West,  along  the  East  line  of  said
15    Southeast Quarter, a distance of 1,069.80 feet for the  Point
16    of  Beginning;  thence South 00 degrees 28 minutes 15 seconds
17    East, along said East line, a distance of 933.00 feet; thence
18    South 88 degrees 37 minutes 14 seconds West,  parallel.  with
19    the  South  line  of  said  Southeast  Quarter, a distance of
20    721.09 feet; thence North 00 degrees 28  minutes  15  seconds
21    West,  parallel  with  the aforesaid East line, a distance of
22    565.89 feet; thence South 88 degrees 37  minutes  14  seconds

 5    375,747.50  feet  and  a Chord Bearing of North 02 degrees 41
 6    minutes 22 seconds West, an Arc Distance of 367.16 feet, to a
 7    line that is parallel  with  the  aforesaid  South  line  and
 8    passes  through  the  Point  of  Beginning;  thence  North 88
 9    degrees 37 minutes 14 seconds East, along said parallel line,
10    a distance of 1273.17 feet to the Point of  Beginning,  being
11    situated  in  the Village of Bartlett, Kane County, Illinois,
12    and containing 20.035 acres, more or less.

13        Section 5-10. The conveyance of real property  authorized
14    by  Section  5-5 shall be made subject to (1) existing public
15    utilities and any and all reservations, easements, covenants,
16    and restrictions of record and (2) the express condition that
17    if said real property ceases to be used  for  public  outdoor
18    recreational  purposes,  it  shall  revert  to  the  State of
19    Illinois without further action on the part of the State.

20        Section 5-15. The Director  of  Natural  Resources  shall
21    obtain    a  certified  copy  of  the  portions  of  this Act
22    containing the  title, the  enacting  clause,  the  effective
23    date,   the   appropriate     Sections  containing  the  land
24    descriptions of property to be  transferred, and this Section
25    within 60 days after this Act's   effective  date  and,  upon
26    receipt  of  payment  required  by the  appropriate Sections,
27    shall record the certified document in the  Recorder's office
28    in the county in which the land is located."; and

29    by deleting lines 27 through 32 on page 6 and lines 1 through
30    16 on page 7; and

31    by deleting lines 6 through 31 on page 8 and lines 1  through

 2    by  deleting  lines  20  through  31  on  page 13 and lines 1
 3    through 21 on page 14; and

 4    by deleting lines 23 through 30 on page 14, all of  pages  15

 6    on  page  66,  line  4,  by  replacing  the  period  with the
 7    following:

17        Quarter  (SE  1/4)  of  Section Twenty-one (21), Township
18        Forty (40) North,  Range  Ten  (10)  East  of  the  Third
19        Principal   Meridian,   more  particularly  described  as
20        follows:
21                  Commencing  at  the  Southwest  corner  of  the
22             Southeast  Quarter  (SE   1/4)   of   said   Section
23             Twenty-one  (21), measure North, along the West line
24             of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4)  of  said  Section
25             Twenty-one  (21)  1287.35  feet,  then East at right
26             angles to  the  said  West  line  of  the  Southeast
27             Quarter  (SE  1/4)  of said Section Twenty-one (21),
28             292.57 feet to the point of beginning;
29                  Thence East along  the  last  described  course

11             tract or parcel of  land  above  described,  distant
12             Southerly  16.5  feet  from  the Northwest corner of
13             said tract  or  parcel,  thence  Westerly  at  right
14             angles to the West line of the Southeast Quarter (SE
15             1/4)  of said Section Twenty-one (21), 293 feet more
16             or less to the public road situated on the West line
17             of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4)  of  said  Section
18             Twenty-one (21), Township and Range aforesaid.".
