SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated February 28, 2017, with the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School Code; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly is encouraged to promptly review and evaluate the Report and determine whether to disapprove, in whole or in part, the Report or any waiver request or appealed request outlined in the Report.
