AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2510

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2510, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 1, on page 1, by replacing lines 13 through 15 with the following:

"patient's estimated glomerular filtration rate, except that the Department of Public Health may grant to a laboratory an exception to or deferral of the requirement to calculate the patient's estimated glomerular filtration rate based on demonstrated financial hardship to the laboratory due to equipment upgrades necessary to enable the laboratory to perform the calculation. The"; and

on page 1, line 19, after the period, by inserting "The Department shall adopt rules to implement this Section.".
