1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6906
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6906 on page 1, line
3 17, after the period, by inserting the following:
4 "As the number of highly qualified teachers in the district
5 increases, however, the school board may spend any surplus of
6 the minimum 40% of funds dedicated to addressing the highly
7 qualified teacher shortage in any manner the school board deems
8 appropriate."; and

9 on page 1, line 29, after the period, by inserting the
10 following:
11 "As the number of highly qualified teachers in the district
12 increases, however, the school board may spend any surplus of
13 the minimum 40% of funds dedicated to addressing the highly
14 qualified teacher shortage in any manner the school board deems
15 appropriate.".
