1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 648
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 648 as follows:
3 on page 16, line 9, by replacing "65%" with "70%"; and
4 on page 16, line 11, by replacing "and 35%" with "50%"; and
5 on page 16, line 13, after "term", by inserting ", and 25% of
6 the per capita funding paid to the charter school during the
7 fourth year of its initial term"; and
8 on page 16, line 22, after the period, by inserting
9 "Transition impact aid shall be paid beginning in the
10 1999-2000 school year for charter schools that are in the
11 first, second, or third year of their initial term."; and
12 on page 17, line 24, after the period, by inserting "The
13 State Board may use up to 3% of the appropriation to contract
14 with a non-profit entity to administer the loan program.";
15 and
16 on page 20, immediately below line 15, by inserting the
17 following:
18 "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
19 becoming law.".
