SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

515 ILCS 5/1-51 new

Amends the Fish and Aquatic Life Code. Defines "fishing license" for purposes of the Act as an electronic or physical license authorizing the person to take a certain type of fish during a specified period of time. Effective immediately.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning fish.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Fish and Aquatic Life Code is amended by adding Section 1-51 as follows:

(515 ILCS 5/1-51 new)

Sec. 1-51. Fishing license. "Fishing license" means an electronic or physical license authorizing the person to take a certain type of fish during a specified period of time.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
