Amends the Fish and Aquatic Life Code. Defines "fishing license" for purposes of the Act as an electronic or physical license authorizing the person to take a certain type of fish during a specified period of time. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Fish and Aquatic Life Code is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 1-51 as follows:

| 6 | | (515 ILCS 5/1-51 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 1-51. Fishing license. "Fishing license" means an |
| 8 | | electronic or physical license authorizing the person to take a |
| 9 | | certain type of fish during a specified period of time.

| 10 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 11 | | becoming law.
