AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 405

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 405, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 1, on page 27, by replacing lines 18 and 19 with the following:

"on or after December 31, 2004, and ending prior to January 1, 2011, and beginning again for tax years ending on or after December 31, 2011, a taxpayer shall be allowed a credit against"; and

on page 29, by replacing lines 1 through 3 with the following: "ending on or after December 31, 2003, and no credit may be carried forward to any taxable year ending on or after January 1, 2011."; and

on page 29, immediately below line 18, by inserting the following:

"This subsection (k) is exempt from the provisions of Section 250.".
