AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2375

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2375 on page 1, by replacing lines 10 through 18 with the following:

"a certification by the contractor that any services provided pursuant to a contract or subcontract for services shall be performed within the United States. The State may void any contract for violation of that certification if the appropriate chief procurement officer deems that action to be in the best interest of the State. The appropriate chief procurement officer by rule may establish ad hoc exemptions from this Section when he or she deems those exemptions to be in the best interest of the State.".
