 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 802

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 802,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 7,  line  22,  by  changing  "Every"  to  "(a)
 5    Every"; and

 6    on page 8, below line 3, by inserting the following:
 7        "(b)  If  any  municipality  exercises  its  condemnation
 8    powers  or  any  other  powers to acquire property granted by
 9    this Section or by the O'Hare Modernization Act over any real
10    property located within the territorial limits of  any  other
11    municipality  or  unit  of local government, the municipality
12    exercising those powers must grant full compensation  to  the
13    other  municipality  or unit of local government within which
14    these condemnation powers or  other  acquisition  powers  are
15    being  exercised.  For  the purpose of this subsection, "full
16    compensation" means compensation for any property tax revenue
17    or other revenue that the municipality or other unit of local
18    government within which these condemnation  powers  or  other
19    acquisition  powers  are  being  exercised would have enjoyed
20    throughout the entire useful life of the real  property  that
21    has  been  condemned  or  otherwise acquired under the powers
22    granted by this Section.".
