 1        AN ACT in relation to airports.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Aeronautics Act  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 6 as follows:

 6        (620 ILCS 5/6) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.6)
 7        Sec. 6. "Airport" means any area of land, water, or both,
 8    except  a  restricted landing area, which is designed for the
 9    landing and take-off of aircraft, whether or  not  facilities
10    are  provided  for  the  shelter,  servicing,  or  repair  of
11    aircraft,  or  for  receiving  or  discharging  passengers or
12    cargo, and all appurtenant areas used or suitable for airport
13    buildings or other airport facilities,  and  all  appurtenant
14    rights  of  way,  regardless  of  when  whether heretofore or
15    hereafter established.
