Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act. Provides that in the case of fire fighter, and fire department or fire district paramedic matters, the arbitration decision shall be limited to wages, hours, and conditions of employment, which may include manning and residency requirements. Effective immediately.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes. Restores current law and provides that the case of fire fighter, and fire department or fire district paramedic matters, the arbitration decision shall be limited to wages, hours, and conditions of employment, including manning and also including residency requirements in municipalities with a population under 1,000,000. Effective immediately.
