JOHNSON,TOM. 625 ILCS 5/12-611 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 12-611 Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the prohibition against operating a sound amplification system that can be heard outside the vehicle from 75 feet or more does not apply to any vehicle whose operator possesses a permit from a unit of local government to exceed the allowed sound level within the boundaries of the unit of local government.
