2 CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT
3 ON SENATE BILL 1109

6 To the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the
7 House of Representatives:
8 We, the conference committee appointed to consider the
9 differences between the houses in relation to House Amendment
10 No. 1 to Senate Bill 1109, recommend the following:
11 (1) the Senate concur in House Amendment No. 1; and
12 (2) that Senate Bill 1109 be further amended as follows:
13 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (c), in
14 subdivision (13), by replacing "(i) an existing structure"
15 with "(i) an existing structure,"; and
16 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (c), in
17 subdivision (15), by replacing "(15) "height of a facility"
18 means" with "(15) "height" of a facility means"; and
19 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (e), in
20 subdivision (2), by replacing "safety purpose only." with
21 "safety purposes only."; and
22 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (e), in
23 subdivision (5), by replacing "preserved." with "preserved if
24 reasonably feasible during construction."; and
25 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (f), in
26 subdivision (3), by replacing "depth shall" with "depth shall
27 be"; and
28 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (f), in
29 subdivision (4), by replacing "less that 10 feet" with "less
30 than 10 feet"; and
31 in Section 5, in Sec. 5-12001.1, in subsection (g), in

1 subdivision (2), by replacing "but only after" with "but only
2 by"; and
3 by inserting at the end of the bill the following:
4 "Section 20. The Airport Zoning Act is amended by adding
5 Section 10.5 as follows:
6 (620 ILCS 25/10.5 new)
7 Sec. 10.5. Effect of other laws. None of the following
8 shall be construed to limit the authority created by this
9 Act:
10 (A) Section 5-12001 of the Counties Code;
11 (B) Section 5-12001.1 of the Counties Code;
12 (C) Section 110-5 of the Township Code; and
13 (D) Section 11-13-1 of the Illinois Municipal Code.".
