| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Fred J. Rasso Sr. formerly of Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on July 5, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Fred Rasso Sr. was born in Silvis to John and | 6 | | Maria Rasso on March 3, 1924; he served in the United States | 7 | | Navy during World War II; he married Florentina P. "Tina" Palos | 8 | | in Moline on March 17, 1946; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Fred Rasso Sr. was employed at the Rock Island | 10 | | Arsenal and Mid-American Energy; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Fred Rasso Sr. enjoyed spending time with his | 12 | | family and pets, gardening, traveling, and watching football, | 13 | | basketball, and the Chicago Cubs; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Fred Rasso Sr. was preceded in death by his | 15 | | parents; his wife, Tina; his six siblings; and his oldest son, | 16 | | Stan; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Fred Rasso Sr. is survived by his sons, Terry | 18 | | (Marti) Rasso, Gary (Corinne) Rasso, Fred Rasso Jr., and | 19 | | Charles (Jolene) Rasso; his 17 grandchildren; his 18 | 20 | | great-grandchildren; and his six great-great-grandchildren; |
