AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3253

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3253 on page 1, by inserting immediately below line 17 the following:

""Person with a severe or profound intellectual disability" means a person (i) whose intelligence quotient does not exceed 40 or (ii) whose intelligence quotient does not exceed 55 and who suffers from significant mental illness to the extent that the person's ability to exercise rational judgment is impaired."; and

on page 2, by replacing lines 3 and 4 with the following: "with a severe or profound intellectual disability.".
