AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1863

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1863, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 1, on page 16, line 9, by deleting "7-2,"; and

on page 16, line 9, by deleting "8-2,"; and

by deleting line 19 on page 50 through line 9 on page 53; and

by deleting line 15 on page 58 through line 7 on page 59; and

on page 160, by replacing lines 1 through 3 with the following:

"Section 15. The Township Code is amended by adding Section 90-35 as follows:

(60 ILCS 1/90-35 new)

Sec. 90-35. Elections; repealer.

(a) Notwithstanding any provision of this Article to the contrary, for a township in which this Article is in force, a township supervisor, township clerk, township assessor, township collector, and highway commissioner shall be elected at the 2021 consolidated elections.

(b) Article 90 is repealed May 17, 2021."; and

on page 165, by deleting lines 23 and 24.
