| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Albert M. Aubry of Moline, who passed | 4 | | away on November 15, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Albert Aubry was born in Moline to John and Helen | 6 | | Ashley Aubry on June 23, 1921; he served in the United States | 7 | | Navy during World War II and married Suzanne Leemans at Sacred | 8 | | Heart Church in Moline on August 9, 1947; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Albert Aubry served his apprenticeship at Rock | 10 | | Island Arsenal and then worked 10 years for Herman | 11 | | Nelson/American Air Filter; he retired in 1984 from John Deere | 12 | | Harvester after 28 years; he later became a tour guide at | 13 | | Harvester for 20 years; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Albert Aubry was a member of Sacred Heart Church, | 15 | | where he served as an usher for many years; he was the past | 16 | | chief ranger of Catholic Order of Foresters Sacred Heart Court | 17 | | 1691, the past commander of American Legion Post 246 in Moline, | 18 | | where he was a member, and past Chairman of the Society of | 19 | | Manufacturing Engineers Chapter 23; he was a member of the | 20 | | Ex-Servicemans Club, VFW Velie Post 2153 in Moline, and the | 21 | | Friends Circle Club; he enjoyed rolle bolle, gardening, and | 22 | | woodworking, especially building birdhouses; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Albert Aubry was preceded in death by his | 2 | | brothers, William, Frank, and Joseph; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Albert Aubry is survived by his wife, Sue; his | 4 | | children, Monroe Aubry, Charlotte (Marvin) Sueverkruebbe, | 5 | | Bonnie (Jim) Horton, Daniel (Kim) Aubry, William (Mary) Aubry, | 6 | | Rita (David) Ostrom, and Marcia (Jim) Riggins; 19 | 7 | | grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary | 8 | | Costello; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Albert M. Aubry, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 13 | | further
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of Albert Aubry as an expression of our | 16 | | deepest sympathy.
