1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2960
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2960 on page 5,
3 immediately below line 15, by inserting the following:

4     "Section 50. The Public Community College Act is amended by
5 adding Section 3-29.11 as follows:

6     (110 ILCS 805/3-29.11 new)
7     Sec. 3-29.11. Joint services transcript.
8     (a) As used in this Section, "joint services transcript"
9 means a transcript issued by any branch of the U.S. Armed
10 Forces that provides information on, among other things,
11 military courses taken through the Armed Forces.
12     (b) Each board shall develop and maintain a written policy
13 concerning the credits that the community college district will
14 award for courses on a joint services transcript.".
