1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1260
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1260 immediately
3 below the enacting clause, by inserting the following:

4     "Section 1. This Act may be cited as the Tax Modernization
5 Act."; and

6 by replacing everything from line 13 on page 62 through line 17
7 on page 64 with the following:
8     ""Sale at retail" includes all of the following services:
9         (1) fur storage;
10         (2) private club membership fees;
11         (3) nonscheduled chartered air transport;
12         (4) scenic and sightseeing transportation;
13         (5) intrastate transportation of persons;
14         (6) travel agent services;
15         (7) short-term auto rental;
16         (8) marina service and towing;

1         (9) health clubs and tanning parlors;
2         (10) dating services;
3         (11) amusement park admission and rides;
4         (12) circuses and fairs;
5         (13) admission to cultural events;
6         (14) coin-operated video games and pinball;
7         (15) billiard parlors;
8         (16) bowling alleys;
9         (17) admission to spectator sports;
10         (18) motion picture theaters video tape rental;
11         (19) gift and package wrapping service;
12         (20) photocopying service;
13         (21) information services;
14         (22) internet service providers;
15         (23) landscaping services;
16         (24) other services to buildings and dwellings;
17         (25) interior design;
18         (26) carpet and upholstery cleaning;
19         (27) laundry and dry-cleaning services;
20         (28) commercial linen supply;
21         (29) diaper services;
22         (30) water softening;
23         (31) pet grooming;
24         (32) household good storage;
25         (33) mini-storage;
26         (34) other warehousing; and

1         (35) personal property.".
