1     AN ACT concerning local government.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Cook County Forest Preserve District Act is
5 amended by changing Section 8.4 as follows:

6     (70 ILCS 810/8.4)
7     Sec. 8.4. Rules and regulations governing construction
8 ~~Building codes~~. All rules and regulations governing the
9 construction and alteration of buildings and structures and
10 parts and appurtenances thereof as adopted by the county board
11 of the county in which the district is located ~~The building~~
12 ~~codes of a county~~, and not the~~building~~ codes of any other unit
13 of local government in which the affected district property is
14 located, shall apply to all construction projects on property
15 owned by the district.
