AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5517

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5517, AS AMENDED, by
3replacing paragraph (1) of subsection (d) of Sec. 12-7.3 of
4Section 5 with the following:
5        "(1) This Section does not apply to any individual, or
6    organization, or employee of a governmental entity (i)
7    monitoring or attentive to compliance with public or worker
8    safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other statutory
9    requirements when the monitoring or attentiveness occurs
10    at the workplace or worksite, or (ii) picketing occurring
11    at the workplace or worksite that is otherwise lawful and
12    arises out of a bona fide labor dispute, including any
13    controversy concerning wages, salaries, hours, working
14    conditions or benefits, including health and welfare, sick
15    leave, insurance, and pension or retirement provisions,
16    the making or maintaining of collective bargaining
17    agreements, and the terms to be included in those
18    agreements."; and

3        "(1) This Section does not apply to any individual, or
4    organization, or employee of a governmental entity (i)
5    monitoring or attentive to compliance with public or worker
6    safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other statutory
7    requirements when the monitoring or attentiveness occurs
8    at the workplace or worksite, or (ii) picketing occurring
9    at the workplace or worksite that is otherwise lawful and
