AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4117

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4117, AS AMENDED, as follows:

in the introductory clause of Section 5, by replacing "Section 6.2 as" with "Sections 6.2 and 6.3 as"; and

by inserting the following at the end of the bill:

"(210 ILCS 5/6.3 new)

Sec. 6.3. Financing the licensure and regulation of ambulatory surgical treatment centers that provide abortions. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the direct and allocable indirect costs of licensing and regulating ambulatory surgical treatment centers that are facilities in which a surgical procedure is utilized to terminate 50 or more pregnancies in any calendar year shall be financed from appropriations made for that purpose.".
