SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

405 ILCS 5/3-201 rep.
405 ILCS 5/4-202 rep.

Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code. Repeals provisions requiring the Department of Human Services to prescribe all forms necessary for proceedings concerning (i) the admittance of a person as an inpatient to a mental health facility for treatment of mental illness and (ii) the admittance of a person with a developmental disability to a facility for residential and habilitation services. Effective immediately.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code is amended by repealing Sections 3-201 and 4-202.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
