AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1592

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1592 on page 1, by replacing lines 4 and 5 with the following:

"Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding Section 9-101.5 and by changing Sections 16-102, 16-111, and 16-113 as follows:

(220 ILCS 5/9-101.5 new)

Sec. 9-101.5. Rates for condominium common elements. For purposes of this Section, "common elements" has the same meaning ascribed to that term in the Condominium Property Act. A public utility that serves at least 2,000,000 customers must charge a residential rate for electric service for the common elements in a condominium.".
