SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
765 ILCS 745/4   from Ch. 80, par. 204

    Amends the Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act. Provides that no person shall rent or offer for rent any mobile home in a mobile home park that does not meet the fire protection standards of the applicable city fire department or fire protection district. Provides that the mobile home park shall perform annual testing and inspections in conjunction with the fire department that has jurisdictional responsibility for responding to fire calls. Provides that the mobile home park shall maintain all private water supply systems and hydrants in operable and good repair.

1     AN ACT concerning property.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act
5 is amended by changing Section 4 as follows:
 
6     (765 ILCS 745/4)  (from Ch. 80, par. 204)
7     Sec. 4. Requisites for Rental or Offer of Mobile Home or
8 Lot for Rental.
9     (a) No person shall rent or offer for rent any mobile home
10 which does not conform to the sanitation, housing and health
11 codes of the State or of the county or municipality in which
12 the mobile home is located.
13     (b) No person shall rent or offer for rent any lot in a
14 mobile home park which does not conform to subdivision
15 ordinances of the county or municipality in which the mobile
16 home park is located.
17     (c) No person shall rent or offer for rent any mobile home
18 in a mobile home park that does not meet the fire protection
19 standards of the applicable city fire department or fire
20 protection district.
21     The mobile home park shall perform annual testing and
22 inspections in conjunction with the fire department that has
23 jurisdictional responsibility for responding to fire calls.
24     The mobile home park shall maintain all private water
25 supply systems and hydrants in operable and good repair.
