1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2926
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2926 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4     "AN ACT concerning youth."; and

5 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
6 following:

7     "Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended
8 by changing Section 4b as follows:

9     (20 ILCS 505/4b)
10     Sec. 4b. Youth transitional housing programs. The
11 Department may license youth transitional housing programs.
12 For the purposes of this Section, "youth transitional housing
13 program" means a program that provides~~to provide services,~~
14 shelter~~,~~or housing to homeless minors who are at least 16
15 years of age but less than 18 years of age and who are granted
16 partial emancipation under the Emancipation of Minors Act. The
17 Department shall adopt rules governing the licensure of those
18 programs.
