 1        AN ACT concerning aging.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Illinois Act on the Aging is  amended  by
 5    adding Section 4.07 as follows:

 6        (20 ILCS 105/4.07 new)
 7        Sec.  4.07.  Home-delivered  meals.  Every citizen of the
 8    State of Illinois  who  qualifies  for  home-delivered  meals
 9    under  the  federal  Older  Americans  Act  shall be provided
10    services, subject to  appropriation.   The  Department  shall
11    file  with  the  General  Assembly  and  shall provide to the
12    Illinois Council on Aging by January 1 of each year estimates
13    of additional funds needed to permit the full funding of  the
14    program  and  the statewide provision of services in the next
15    fiscal year.
