 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 703

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 703  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.  The  Illinois  Governmental  Ethics  Act is
 5    amended by changing Section 1-101 as follows:

 6        (5 ILCS 420/1-101) (from Ch. 127, par. 601-101)
 7        Sec. 1-101.  Short title.  This Act shall  be  known  and
 8    may be cited as the "Illinois Governmental Ethics Act.
