 1        AN ACT with regard to schools.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.   The  School  Code  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 24-1.1 as follows:

 6        (105 ILCS 5/24-1.1) (from Ch. 122, par. 24-1.1)
 7        Sec.  24-1.1.  Employment  of  public school employees by
 8    nonpublic schools.    Employees  of  public  schools  may  be
 9    employed  on  a  part-time  or  temporary basis by private or
10    parochial schools, providing that such employment  is  in  no
11    way  connected  with  or  subsidized  by  their public school
12    employment, and provided further that  the  such  private  or
13    parochial  employment  does not conflict or interfere with an
14    employee's public school duties.
