1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

2     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that there is created the Rural Water
5 Infrastructure Task Force consisting of 11 members appointed as
6 follows: one member appointed by the Director of the
7 Environmental Protection Agency, one member appointed by the
8 Director of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, one member
9 appointed by the Executive Director of the Illinois Finance
10 Authority, 2 members appointed by the President of the Senate,
11 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader of the Senate, 2
12 members appointed by the Speaker of the House of
13 Representatives, and 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader
14 of the House of Representatives; and be it further

15     RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall study ways to improve
16 access to rural water infrastructure funds and shall report its
17 findings to the General Assembly on or before December 31,
18 2004; and be it further

19     RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to
20 the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency, the
21 Director of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the Executive
22 Director of the Illinois Finance Authority, the President of
23 the Senate, the Minority Leader of the Senate, the Speaker of
24 the House of Representatives, and the Minority Leader of the
25 House of Representatives.
