 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2745

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2745, on page 1, by
 3    deleting everything after the enacting clause  and  inserting
 4    in lieu thereof the following:

 5                             "ARTICLE 1

 6        Section  1.   "AN  ACT making appropriations", Public Act
 7    93-68, approved July 1, 2003, is amended by changing  Section
 8    3 of Article 1 as follows:

 9        (P.A. 93-68, Art. 1, Sec. 3)
10        Sec.  3.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof
11    as  may  be  necessary,  are  appropriated  to  the  Illinois
12    Emergency Management Agency  for  the  objects  and  purposes
13    hereinafter named:

22    93-91, approved July 30,  2003,  is  amended  by  adding  new
23    Section 27 to Article 8 as follows:

25        Sec.  27.  The  sum of $12,270,000, or so much thereof as
26    may be necessary, is appropriated to the Illinois  Department
27    of   Transportation   from  the  Federal  Civil  Preparedness
28    Administrative  Fund  for  costs  associated  with   Illinois
29    Terrorism   Task   Force   approved  purchases  for  homeland
30    security.

31        Section 3.  "AN ACT making  appropriations",  Public  Act

17        Section 5.  "AN ACT making  appropriations",  Public  Act
18    93-91,  approved  July  30,  2003,  is  amended by adding new
19    Section 85 to Article 7 as follows:

20        (P.A. 93-91, Art. 7, Sec. 85, new)
21        Sec. 85.  The sum of $14,200,000, or so much  thereof  as
22    may  be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of State
23    Police from the  Federal  Civil  Preparedness  Administrative
24    Fund  for costs associated with Illinois Terrorism Task Force
25    approved purchases for homeland security.

26        Section 6.  "AN ACT making  appropriations",  Public  Act
27    93-587,  approved  August  22, 2003, is amended by adding new
28    Section 16 of Article 1 as follows:

 1        Sec. 16.  The sum of $3,111,900, or so  much  thereof  as
 2    may   be   necessary,   is   appropriated  from  the  Capital
 3    Development Fund to the Capital  Development  Board  for  the
 4    Illinois  Emergency  Management  Agency  for costs associated
 5    with a new State Emergency Operations Center.

 6        Section 7.  "AN ACT making  appropriations",  Public  Act
 7    93-91,  approved  July  3,  2003,  is  amended  by adding new
 8    Sections 28 and 29 to Article 8 as follows:

 9        (P.A. 93-91, Art. 8, Sec. 28, new)
10        Sec. 28.  The sum of $86,309,695 is appropriated from the
11    Transportation Bond  Series  A  Fund  to  the  Department  of
12    Transportation  for  the purpose of making a deposit into the
13    Road Fund to reimburse the Road Fund  for  grants  and  loans
14    made    for    the   statewide   acquisition,   construction,
15    reconstruction, extension and improvement  of  transportation
16    facilities,  including  state  highways,  arterial  highways,
17    freeways,  roads, bridges, structures separating highways and
18    railroads and roads,  and  bridges  on  roads  maintained  by
19    counties, municipalities, townships or road districts.

20        (P.A. 93-91, Art. 8, Sec. 29, new)
21        Sec. 29.  The sum of $13,306,906 is appropriated from the
22    Transportation  Bond  Series  A  Fund  to  the  Department of
23    Transportation for the purpose of making a deposit  into  the
24    State  Construction  Account  Fund  to  reimburse  the  State
25    Construction  Account  Fund for grants and loans made for the
26    statewide    acquisition,    construction,    reconstruction,
27    extension  and  improvement  of  transportation   facilities,
28    including state highways, arterial highways, freeways, roads,
29    bridges,  structures  separating  highways  and railroads and
30    roads,  and  bridges  on  roads   maintained   by   counties,
31    municipalities, townships or road districts.

 1                             ARTICLE 99

 2        Section   99.  Effective  Date.  This  Act  takes  effect
 3    immediately.".
