 1        AN  ACT to implement the federal No Child Left Behind Act
 2    of 2001.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section 5.   The School Code is amended by adding Section
 6    2-3.131 as follows:

 7        (105 ILCS 5/2-3.131 new)
 8        Sec.  2-3.131.  No Child Left Behind Act. The State Board
 9    of Education shall implement the provisions of the federal No
10    Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (Public Law 107-110).
