SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carol Lydecker Dwyer, who passed away on October 2, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Carol Lydecker Dwyer was employed as an administrative manager for the Urban Innovations property management company; and

WHEREAS, Despite not starting formal dance training until she was 19, Carol Lydecker Dwyer danced, sang, acted in, or choreographed some 30 community theater productions, including several Village Player and Open Door productions, and the 14 Stations of the Cross, which told the stories of cancer survivors and their journeys; she was also the proprietor of her own dance studio, Kicks, in Chicago between 1985 and 1987; and

WHEREAS, Carol Lydecker Dwyer is survived by her husband, Bill Dwyer, and her many other family members, friends, and theatrical and musical colleagues; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Carol Lydecker Dwyer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carol Lydecker Dwyer as an expression of our sympathy.
