SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Carol Lydecker Dwyer, who passed away on
4October 2, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Carol Lydecker Dwyer was employed as an
6administrative manager for the Urban Innovations property
7management company; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Despite not starting formal dance training until
9she was 19, Carol Lydecker Dwyer danced, sang, acted in, or
10choreographed some 30 community theater productions, including
11several Village Player and Open Door productions, and the 14
12Stations of the Cross, which told the stories of cancer
13survivors and their journeys; she was also the proprietor of
14her own dance studio, Kicks, in Chicago between 1985 and 1987;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Carol Lydecker Dwyer is survived by her husband,
17Bill Dwyer, and her many other family members, friends, and
18theatrical and musical colleagues; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
21her family and friends, the passing of Carol Lydecker Dwyer;

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3presented to the family of Carol Lydecker Dwyer as an
4expression of our sympathy.
