| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Irving E. Landry of Silvis, who passed | 4 | | away on November 15, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Irving Landry was born to Norman and Evelyn | 6 | | (Campbell) Landry in Moline on October 25, 1950; he served in | 7 | | the U.S. Army; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Irving Landry retired as a welder from John Deere | 9 | | Harvester Works in East Moline; after retiring, he drove for | 10 | | Johannes Bus Service; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Irving Landry enjoyed playing cards, especially | 12 | | euchre, traveling, and visiting with family; he also enjoyed | 13 | | line dancing and country dancing; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Irving Landry was preceded in death by his | 15 | | parents; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Irving Landry is survived by his children, Scott | 17 | | (Holly) Landry, Jason Landry, Jessica (Matthew) Bennett, and | 18 | | Jennifer Landry; his 12 grandchildren; his great-grandson; and | 19 | | his siblings, Estella Novak, Janet Broadway, Joseph Landry, | 20 | | and Alicia Damara; therefore, be it
