SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Irving E. Landry of Silvis, who passed
4away on November 15, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Irving Landry was born to Norman and Evelyn
6(Campbell) Landry in Moline on October 25, 1950; he served in
7the U.S. Army; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Irving Landry retired as a welder from John Deere
9Harvester Works in East Moline; after retiring, he drove for
10Johannes Bus Service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Irving Landry enjoyed playing cards, especially
12euchre, traveling, and visiting with family; he also enjoyed
13line dancing and country dancing; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Irving Landry was preceded in death by his
15parents; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Irving Landry is survived by his children, Scott
17(Holly) Landry, Jason Landry, Jessica (Matthew) Bennett, and
18Jennifer Landry; his 12 grandchildren; his great-grandson; and
19his siblings, Estella Novak, Janet Broadway, Joseph Landry,
20and Alicia Damara; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Irving E. Landry and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Irving Landry as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
