SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mario Raymond Dal Pozzo of Staunton, who passed away on May 6, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo was born in Litchfield to Raymond "Jeff" and Doris (Knabel) Dal Pozzo on November 13, 1948; he served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1974; he married Deborah Ritchie on October 10, 1970; and

WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo worked as a computer programmer at Granite City Steel for many years; and

WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and being with his family; he loved hanging out at Mr. T's and The Alleys; and

WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeffrey Dal Pozzo; and

WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo is survived by his wife, Deborah; his daughter, Tamara (Julian) Dal Pozzo Ramirez; his grandchildren, Ashleigh (Daniel) Feldmann, Peyton Bernot, and Rylee Bernot; his great-grandchildren, Elexia, Jace, Jax, and Emreigh Feldmann; his sisters, Karen (Mike) Luchtefeld and Tami (Brian) Kershaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mario Raymond Dal Pozzo and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mario Dal Pozzo as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
