SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mario Raymond Dal Pozzo of Staunton, who
4passed away on May 6, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo was born in Litchfield to Raymond
6"Jeff" and Doris (Knabel) Dal Pozzo on November 13, 1948; he
7served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1974; he married Deborah
8Ritchie on October 10, 1970; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo worked as a computer programmer at
10Granite City Steel for many years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo enjoyed golfing, playing cards,
12and being with his family; he loved hanging out at Mr. T's and
13The Alleys; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo was preceded in death by his
15parents and his son, Jeffrey Dal Pozzo; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Mario Dal Pozzo is survived by his wife, Deborah;
17his daughter, Tamara (Julian) Dal Pozzo Ramirez; his
18grandchildren, Ashleigh (Daniel) Feldmann, Peyton Bernot, and
19Rylee Bernot; his great-grandchildren, Elexia, Jace, Jax, and
20Emreigh Feldmann; his sisters, Karen (Mike) Luchtefeld and Tami

1(Brian) Kershaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Mario Raymond Dal Pozzo and extend our sincere condolences to
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Mario Dal Pozzo as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
