1 AN ACT in relation to the powers and duties of the
2 Department of Agriculture.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Department of Agriculture Law of the Civil
6 Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Sections
7 205-435 and 205-440 as follows:
8 (20 ILCS 205/205-435 new)
9 Sec. 205-435. Monetary penalties. The Department may
10 establish, by rule, and collect monetary penalties for the
11 failure of a person to pay any fee required by law to be paid
12 to the Department.

14 Sec. 205-440. Revocation of licenses, certificates, and
15 stamps. The Department may revoke any license, certificate,
16 or stamp issued by the Department if the person who holds the
17 license, fee, or stamp fails to pay any fee required by law
18 to be paid to the Department.

20 Section 10. The Specialty Farm Product Buyers Act is
21 repealed.

23 Section 15. The Seed Arbitration Act is repealed.
24 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
25 becoming law.
