1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1733
2 AMENDMENT NO.___. Amend Senate Bill 1733 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 8 through 23 with the following:
4 "(20 ILCS 205/205-435 new)
5 Sec. 205-435. Monetary penalties. The Department may
6 establish, by rule, and collect monetary penalties for the
7 failure of a person to pay any fee or penalty required by
8 law to be paid to the Department.
9 (20 ILCS 205/205-440 new)
10 Sec. 205-440. Revocation of licenses, certifications,
11 permits, seals, marks, registrations, or other authorizations
12 to operate. The Department may revoke any license,
13 certification, permit, seal, mark, registration, or other
14 authorization to operate issued by the Department if the
15 person who holds the license, certification, permit, seal,
16 mark, registration, or other authorization to operate fails
17 to pay any fee or penalty required by law to be paid to the
18 Department.".
