CLAYTON. 40 ILCS 5/3-114.2 from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 3-114.2 Amends the Downstate Police Article of the Pension Code. Provides that nonduty disability benefits are not available to a police officer who first becomes a member of the fund on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1998, until the officer has at least 7 years of creditable service in the fund.
