Provides that nonduty disability benefits are not available to a police officer who first becomes a member of the fund on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1998, until the officer has at least 7 years of creditable service in the fund. PENSION NOTE Fiscal impact cannot be calculated; future non-duty disability costs should be reduced.
