Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.

Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

Sec. 7.

Executive Director.

The Authority shall appoint an
Executive Director, who is the chief executive officer of the Authority.

In addition to any other duties set forth in this Act, the Executive Director shall:

(1) Direct and supervise the administrative affairs and activities of
the Authority, in accordance with its rules, regulations, and policies;

(2) Attend meetings of the Authority;

(3) Keep minutes of all proceedings of the Authority;

(4) Approve all accounts for salaries, per diem payments, and allowable
expenses of the Authority and its employees and consultants and approve all
expenses incidental to the operation of the Authority;

(5) Report and make recommendations to the Authority on the merits and
status of any proposed facility; and

(6) Perform any other duty that the Authority requires for carrying out
the provisions of this Act.
