AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2019

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2019 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is amended by adding Section 15.2 as follows:

(730 ILCS 110/15.2 new)

Sec. 15.2. Public access of probation and court services funds. All records of the county probation and court services division relating to the obligation, receipt, and use of public funds of the State or county for probation and court services shall be made available to the public for inspection and copying. The Supreme Court may by rule establish procedures governing public access to records and appropriate fees for copies of records. The procedures and fees shall not be more than those in the Freedom of Information Act.".
