SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
30 ILCS 500/33-15

    Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Sets forth provisions providing that whenever a project requiring construction management services is proposed for a State agency, the Capital Development Board shall provide advance notice published in the procurement bulletin (currently, published in a request for proposals) setting forth the projects and services to be procured. Removes a provision providing that the request for proposals shall be mailed to each prequalified firm. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning finance.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
5changing Section 33-15 as follows:
 
6    (30 ILCS 500/33-15)
7    Sec. 33-15. Public notice. Whenever a project requiring
8construction management services is proposed for a State
9agency, the Board shall provide no less than a 14-day advance
10notice published in the procurement bulletin a request for
11proposals setting forth the projects and services to be
12procured. The bulletin shall be available electronically and
13may be available in print. The bulletin shall include a
14description of each project and shall state the time and place
15for interested firms to submit a letter of interest, and, if
16required by the public notice, a statement of qualifications.
17The request for proposals shall be mailed to each firm that is
18prequalified under Section 33-10. The request for proposals

1    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
2becoming law.
