Amends the Electric Supplier Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning existing lines.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning regulation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Electric Supplier Act is amended by changing Section 3.6 as follows:

(220 ILCS 30/3.6) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 403.6)

Sec. 3.6. "Existing line" means any line of an electric supplier which on the the effective date of this Act is (a) in existence or (b) is under construction, as determined in accordance with accepted engineering practices. The term includes any such line which one electric supplier may acquire from another electric supplier after such effective date.
