AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4943

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4943 on page 1, by replacing lines 9 and 10 with the following:

"2018, each taxpayer who legally adopts a qualified youth in care during the taxable year is entitled to a credit in an"; and

on page 2, by replacing lines 8 through 12 with the following:

""Qualified youth in care" means an Illinois resident who meets the definition of "youth in care" under Section 4d of the Children and Family Services Act immediately prior to being legally adopted by the taxpayer.".
